A NEW WINDOW OF FRIENDSHIP AND MUSIC, “TÜRKÇEVİZYON”
Only a few days left to the music festival Türkçevizyon in which Turkish songs will go beyond the boundaries and seasons, and will be echoing in wide areas… “The 4th International Turkish Music Festival Türkçevizyon” which is organized with the cooperation of TRT and Denizli Municipality will gather music lovers in one language between the 11th-14th of September, 2013. Thousands of participants and millions of viewers will go on a musical journey with Turkish songs.
The festival, of which aim is to make Turkish reach wide areas with the magic of notes and music and start brand new friendships, was first took place in 2009… The festival which was held for the second and third time in 2010 and 2011, after taking a break in 2012, gather the Turkish speaking countries once more this year. Just like earlier years, 21 Turkish-speaking countries from the Balkans and East Asia are participating in the festival this year.
The festival will last for four days. During the first three days, the popular artists of the participant countries will share their songs and emotions with the concerts they will give in Denizli. With the arrangements made in “Denizli Open Air Threatre”, “İncilipınar Park” and “Adalet Park”, Denizli is getting ready for the public concerts. Every song, which is sung in the concerts in which the participant artists will present their picks from their repertoires, is a warm hello and an offer for friendship…
AN INCREDIBLE PREMIERE WITH THE MOST POPULAR TURKISH SONG and FOLKSONGS
On the fourth and last day of the festival which will build a musical bridge from East Asia to the Balkans, big surprises await both participants and viewers. Because the festival will end with a PREMIERE which will be talked about for a long time. In this finale which will take place in Pamukkale Ancient Theatre with a capacity of twenty thousand people, artists of the participant countries will be on stage to sing Turkish songs and anonymous folksongs, being one heart in one language.
The festival premier which was aired on only TRT Müzik and TRT Avaz in the earlier years, will be presented live to the audience this year, along with the public TV channels of most participant countries. Thanks to these cooperated broadcasts, millions of people will share the same feelings with Turkish songs and folksongs.
20 COUNTRIES, “ONE HEART ONE LANGUAGE” WITH TURKISH SONGS
The festival was the adress to a Turkish excitement and musical joy for three times and preparations have been going on for months for the festival to take place for the 4th time. On the 25th of April, 2013, during the meeting which was attended by TRT General Manager İbrahim Şahin, Governor of Denizli, Abdülkadir Demir and the Mayor of Denizli, Osman Zolan and officials of our TRT, the details of the festival were cleared.
At this meeting which was held at TRT Head Office with broad participation, it was decided that this year, the theme of the festival, should be “BİR DİL BİR YÜREK”, (ONE LANGUAGE ONE HEART); and the visual theme should be “SU”, (WATER). The Turkish presentation of the premiere night of the festival in which excitement and joy will never be missing, will be by the successful presenter Murat Başoğlu, and the English presenting will be in hands of Ayşe Süberker.
Popular artists of 20 countries are getting ready to perform the most popular songs and folk songs for the “4th International Turkish Music Festival Türkçevizyon”. These valuable artists who will attend the organisation were determined by a selection committee which is formed by the members of TRT Müzik, TRT Avaz and TRT Production Coordinatorship. What makes this year more special is that an orchestra with 30 musicians will be playing live under the baton of Metin Özülkü. The theme song of the programme for Premiere Night which will be aired live in many countries, was also composed by Metin Özülkü.
Another exciting feature of the festival is the show which will be performed by TRT Gençlik Halk Dansları Topluluğu (TRT Youth Folk Dancing Group). The group which brings Anatolia with its figures and take the audience on a journey to the World of Turkish with the aesthetics of dance, already had their place in the festival programme.
The premiere, which will start at 9 pm on the 14th of September, will make viewers and participants experience a musical Turkish party of 120 minutes… Popular artists of 20 different countries from East Asia and the Balkans will be on the stage of Pamukkale Ancient Theatre to perform the most popular Turkish songs and the best folksongs. In different countries, in different climates; hearts will beat in Turkish.
