CAMERAMAN AZIZ AKYAVAŞ UNACCOUNTED FOR SINCE LAST THURSDAY

Nothing has been heard from cameraman Aziz Akyavaş for five days now. Aziz Akyavaş and Richard Engel working for American NBC television have been unaccounted for since Thursday December 13.

Cameraman Aziz Akyavaş who has been covering war zones in all parts of the world from Latin America to the Middle East since the 1980s went to Syria working for America's NBC television. Akyavaş and NBC's Middle East correspondent Richard Engel were last known to be around Aleppo.

Akyavaş has not been heard from since Thursday amid allegations that both he and US correspondent Engel are in the hands of the opposition and initiatives are being made to ensure their release.
