Academics, journalists, NGO representatives, art-lovers and students of the Turkish summer-school attended the opening of the exhibition.

Ambassador Özyıldız said he was happy to be at the Yunus Emre Culture Centre on the occasion of the opening of the first artistic activity and spoke appreciatively about the photographs of Turkey, stressing that Sheehan had a very keen perception of Anatolia and its people. He said further he hoped activities of that kind would increase in number to consolidate the friendship and fraternity between the two countries.

Lebanese intellectuals also appreciated Sheehan's exhibition dominated by snapshots of Istanbul and Eastern Black Sea.

The Lebanese photographer said that the geography of Turkey enriched her perception of heaven and it is a wealth for the arts.
