Prime Minister-designate Hisham Kandil is continuing his contacts about the cabinet. He said that the governmnet was going to consist of technocrats. Some political parties, among them liberal formations, earlier said they would not be part of the new governmnet. Following President Mohammed Morsi's naming of Kandil as Prime Minister designate, efforts were speeded up to set up the new governmnet. What is said is that 80% of the governmnet has been formed. Tomorrow will see the announcement of all the names constituting the new Egyptian government. Many important issues such as security, fuel , traffic congestion and the environment are waiting to be resolved by the government.
Work is also underway for the new constitution. The constitution commission is drafting the document on some of whose articles agreement have been reached.
