BODRUM HOSTS 9TH INTERNATIONAL GÜMÜŞLÜK CLASSIC MUSIC FESTIVAL

In the historical Gümüşlük church of Eklisia, Zilberstein gave a concert of two parts to the classic music lovers in Bodrum.

Zilberstein played Schumann's '8 Novelettes op.21' in the first part and the second half of the concert comprised of Sergei Taneyev's 'Prelude and Fugue op.29' and Rachmaninoff's '6 Moments Musicaux op.16'.

Within the scope of the Festival, Karst de Jong from the Netherlands will take the stage in Bodrum's Gümüşlük town on July 28, Muza Rubackyte from Lithuania on August 1, Harri Kuusijarvi of Finland on August 9 and British Jonathan Plowright on August 12, 2012.

The Turkish classical music performers will begin their concerts on August 16, 2012.

On August 16th, Erol Erdinç will give a concert and he will be followed by Sibel Köse Trio on 18-19 August.

Ayşe Gencer and İmer Demirer Group will be on the stage on August 24 and 25.

Sarp Maden will meet the audience on 31st of August and on September 1st.

Leading Turkish concert pianist Gülsin Onay will give the final concert of the festival on September 7th.
