Hadise was born in 1985 in Belgium.She first attracted international attention in the year 2003 in the “Pop Idol” contest. At college she studied “Economy and Contemporary Languages”. Thanks to her education she became a flent speaker of Flemish, French, German and English at an early age. But she prefered to go after her greatest passion “music”.

The doors of the music world opened widely with the contest Pop Idol. She released her first single “Sweat” in November 2004. “Sweat” ranked high at all chart plays and tits video was frequently aired in all European TV stations.

Her second single “Stir Me Up” released at May 2005, was even a bigger hit. She attracted all looks with her conspicous voice and amazing stage performance. “Stir Me Up” appered at many Summer Hit compilations. Also Turkish music audiences discovered Hadise with “Stir Me Up”.

In September 2005 her third single, “Milk Chocolate Girl”, was released and this name became her soubriquet. During the same year, she released her first studio album, “Sweat,” which included her singles “Sweat”, “Stir Me Up”, “Milk Chocolate Girl” and her fourth single “Ain’t No Love Lost”.

During the busy years of 2006 and 2007 she won the “TMF – Best Urban National Award” which is the most important music award in Belgium. She released two new singles in Autumn 2007 “A Good Kiss” and "My Body" in the early 2008. After these succesfull singles she released her second studio album “Hadise” in Belgium and also in Turkey with two bonus tracks “Deli Oğlan” and “Aşkkolik”. “Deli Oğlan” was the Turkish version of “A Good Kiss” and the Turkish lyrics were written by Sezen Aksu. The song ranked at number one at all chart plays and the video received huge airplay from all TV stations.

In a very short period, Hadise built her career strongly and nowadays she is preparing for her performance in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, where she will represent Turkey.
